Imagine a Vale of Rheidol tank locomotive steaming into Devil's Bridge pulling a matching rake of bogie coaches, a Welshpool and Llanfair Countess charging up Golfa Bank, or an industrial diesel loading stone in a quarry. You can re-create such scenes in your garden!

We run narrow gauge trains in the scale of 1:19 which represents 16mm: lft running on 32mm gauge track (O Gauge) giving a prototype 2ft Narrow Gauge, or on 45mm gauge track (Gauge 1) representing 2ft 6" and 3ft Narrow Gauge prototypes.

Most members run their trains outdoors in the garden. A miniature and truly lifelike landscape can be achieved climbing through the rockery, crossing the pond on a trestle bridge, passing through a forest of dwarf conifers and into a tunnel!

You don't have to possess a garden railway to be a member of the Association because members are welcome by invitation at other members advertised garden railway events.
